Text Box: Well here are the answers to that infuriating crossword sent to you in the post recently.  Like we say, we hope you got the answers through your own endeavours rather than visiting this site.   Most of the answers are festively oriented although some are somewhat tenuous although we hope you grant us such licence in good faith.   If anyone wishes to dispute the clues against the answers, well, the compilers’ credentials are questionable so your complaint  won’t get very far.   We hope you enjoyed the bit of fun and we look forward to seeing you at the appointed hour and place.   Do please RSVP if you can.

Text Box: Having got this far you will now be aware that there is a party being held on New Year’s Eve, and you are invited.    Further information not contained in the answers above.   We will be holding a “tackiest present in town” competition.  For each partygoer please bring a wrapped up present purchased at your local £1 shop (Aldershot and Farnborough have one each, at least!).  The idea is to spend £1 on the most hideous Christmas gift you can find in these establishments.   On your wrapped “gift” please say who it is from—that means you!!!!   There will be a group vote as to the winner to whom a “prize” will be awarded.   Have a wonderful Christmas and we look forward to seeing in 2006 in your company.
